  1. No. Why would you abolish Capital Punishment? Is it because it is considered cruel and unusual punishment? It is not. The convicted criminal has done something so atrocious that it has landed him on death row. Nothing should be considered cruel to that person. The Death penalty is a good thing it acts as deterrent for other would be criminals, as well as retribution. However if you are looking at this from a financial standpoint then you re correct in saying that the state should abolish it. It costs several million dollars to kill someone. Are you serious? if this person is proven guilty beyond a doubt and is sentenced to death then take this person after the court meeting and put a bullet in their brain. For one it is a hell of a lot less expensive, and two its done and over with. The state of Florida spends around $51 Million on keeping prisoners alive that are on death row. That covers medical, food, water. Please answer this why does they state pay all that money to keep someone alive that has been given the death sentence? Cheaper to go put a bullet in their brain. But I guess that is to simple for some people.

  2. The information I posted in my previous comment was from a book. White,James E. "Capital Punishment." Contemporary Moral Problems. 10th ed. Boston, MA: Clark Baxter, 2012. page 198. Print.
The comment about the bullet in the brain was not in the book, that was my personal opinion.
