STUART - A judge sentenced Nicole Claire Thornhill to 50 years in prison this morning for her role in the 2008 sword slaying of her stepfather and the poisoning of both her stepfather and mother.
Thornhill’s boyfriend, Christopher Tomlinson, stabbed Gerald Lee Jensen with a samurai sword and left his body in a trash bin.
A jury convicted him on first degree murder and poisoning charges last month, and he was also sentenced to life in prison.
Thornhill, 21, of Stuart, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder charges in November
